CAI Machinery launches white underprint technology

The new release adopts an innovative transparent cup printing solution—white base printing technology—and incorporates Pantone’s 2026 Color of the Year, “Cloud Dancer,” bringing a light, soft, and serene white tone to festive beverage packaging.

Thanks to the uniquely engineered white base layer, graphics printed on the transparent cups appear well-defined and vividly bright, maintaining clear contrast even under strong lighting. This elevates festive beverages from a purely “taste-driven” experience to a more compelling visual experience.

Printing on transparent cups has long posed stringent technical challenges. White base printing acts like laying an invisible canvas on glass, allowing designs to come alive on transparent substrates. It not only effectively avoids common issues such as dull colors, color shifts, or unwanted white edges, but also significantly enhances overall packaging quality and brand perception.
